Out In The Community
We Won!
We are excited to announce that The SFCPA has won a #LocalImpactGrants grant from The NBCUniversal Foundation! We’re extremely proud to be in good company. We’re one of 76 organizations fostering a culture of equity and inclusion in our local communities.
This grant is more than an award to our program - it is a celebration of our mission and we are very happy to share this exciting opportunity for growth!

We will use the funding to support our new youth percussion program this upcoming 2024-2025 season. We are creating our first advanced percussion performance ensemble to educate, support, and mentor our most talented and dedicated students aged 14-18. The program aims to prepare students to work in professional musical settings and to provide these students access to consistent performance opportunities in their community of West Kendall and beyond. Thank you to The NBCUniversal Foundation, NBC6, and Telemundo 51! #drummingisuniversal
