RhythmFUN!
The SFCPA's comprehensive approach to learning music through percussion.
Our unique program is for students from 18 months to 18 years of age and is divided into 6 groups. The youngest 2 groups meet once a week and the upper 4 groups meet twice a week. All groups have 2 performances during the 14 week Fall and Spring Programs.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, RhythmFUN! is a tuition free community program for ages 6 - 18.

We support our students every step of the way throughout the calendar year through different activities as they grow. We give them complete access to a safe and encouraging space, and the highest quality of instruments in the entire percussion family. As they mature we provide the space and format for them to play and learn from professional musicians on a weekly basis.
Drumming Is Universal
Students are highly encouraged to join the program at every age level, regardless of experience. The variety of skills within a group inspire and unite the members to achieve the goal of the program - learning, playing, and performing together!
Performance Based Instruction
Fundamentals are woven into concert preparation. Children learn to read rhythms on drums, transfer it to percussion instruments, learn grooves and coordination on drum set, and advance to melodic instruments such as marimba and vibraphone.
Class Schedule
Yellow Group
Ages 18m - 2 years old
This group meets once a week on Saturdays from 10 - 10:30 am
Semester fee: $200
Green Group
Ages 9 - 11 years old
This group meets twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays from 6 - 7 pm
Semester fee: Semester fee: $125 at the beginning of the semester and $125 on 10/28
Orange Group
Ages 3 - 5 years old
This group meets once a week on Saturdays from 11 - 11:30 am.
Semester fee: $200
Blue Group
Ages 12 - 14 years old
This group meets twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 7 - 8:30 pm
Semester fee: Semester fee: $125 at the beginning of the semester and $125 on 10/28
Red Group
Ages 6 - 8 years old
This group meets twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6 - 7 pm

Purple Group
Ages 15 - 18 years old
This group meets twice a week on Mondays & Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 pm

Registration for the Fall semester is open!
Please fill out one application per family (up to 2 siblings). Once you submit a form, we'll contact you with more information within a week. If you are registering more than 2 children, please submit an additional form. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.
